Jordan Ayew Scores Wonderful Goal As Crystal Palace Thump Arsenal At Home

Jordan Ayew’s scored Crystal Palace second goal to bend Arsenal off in a 3-0 home win for his side.

The Ghana international had a fined pass from Joachim Andersen to double the lead for Palace on the 24 minutes.

Jordan Ayew cut inside and guided Joachim Andersen’s excellent pass into the far corner.

Ayew was substituted on the 76 minutes for Odsonne Edouard after Arsenal were still chasing shadows.

Mateta scored the first goal for his side on 16 minutes through a header before Zaha extended the lead to complete a home win.

Four of Jordan Ayew’s 28 Premier League goals have been against Arsenal, and has only scored as many against West Ham and Watford.

Crystal Palace have never scored more goals after 29 games than this season in their top division history, also scored 39 in 90-91 and 91-92.

The win means Patrick Viera’s side has matched last season’s final total of goals.
