John Paintsil slams GFA amidst Christian Atsu’s death

John Paintsil has taken a swipe at the Ghana Football Association for snubbing Christian Atsu when the Footballer needed them most. In an interview with Original FM  the former Black Stars player would have been treated well if he had regular minutes in the Black Stars. This could also have anchored Atsu’s career at club level.

“You snubbed him and kicked him out of your Black Stars at age 31. Atsu has been struggling to get a permanent stay in a club since the snub. We all know the Value & Respect your club gives you when you play for your Nation. Don’t pretend you loved him because you don’t at all”

John Paintsil comments has sent tongues wagging on social media. Some section of Ghanaians believe he spoke out of frustration others believe he hit the nail right on its head.

The Ghana Football Association is yet to react  to John Paintsil comments.
