John Antwi sets new record in Egypt

Former Sekondi Eleven Wise player has increased his goal tally making him set a record in Egypt as the foreign player with most goals after scoring his 70th goal in Pyramids 2-0 win over Al-Mokawloon in the Egyptian league.

The Ghanaian international who just made only one appearance for the Ghana Black Stars has been a force to reckon with since his arrival in the Egyptian league making him one of the fan favourite from Ghana after his predecessors Emmanuel Quarshie and Papa Arko.

John Duku Antwi who joined Pyramids FC from Misr El-Makkasa in 2019 has been very impressive and phenomenal making him the thorn in the flesh and nightmare for his opponents on the field of play.

John Antwi’s 70th goal has made him the foreigner to score the highest number of goals in the Egyptian league.

He scored 28 goals in Ismaily jersey, 37 goals in his loan moves to Misr El-Makkasa, 3 goals in Al Alhy jersey and 2 goals for his current club Pyramids FC.
