Injury update: Christopher Antwi-Adjei likely to miss Sudan game

Black Stars Winger Christopher Antwi-Adjei has sustained an injury which may rule him out of the double header against Sudan.

The Paderbon Winger sustained a thigh strain on Friday when his side were beaten 2-1 by FC Koln in the German Bundesliga.

The Ghanaian was substituted just before the half time whistle after it was made clear to the Paderbon Coaching staff that he could not continue.

It is understood that the Paderbon medical staff will run some tests on the Ghanaian to determine the full extent of his injury.

Black Stars Head Coach C.K.Akonnor may have to replace the winger if he does not recover in time to face Sudan.

Antwi-Adjei has been capped just once for Ghana. The German born Ghanaian will be hoping to recover in time to face the Sudanese in the AFCON 2021 qualifier.
