If we are able to defeat Nigeria, we should thank God’- Ex-Ghana international Mohammed Polo

Former Ghana international and Hearts of Oak legend, Mohammed Polo is not convinced the Black Stars team can defeat the super eagles of  Nigeria and qualify for the World Cup in Qatar.

The Black stars will be battling it out with the super eagles of Nigeria in March, for a slot in the upcoming world cup in Qatar.

But, according to the former Hearts of Oak player, it will be a miracle for the Black stars to defeat the super eagles and qualify for the 2022 world cup in Qatar.

“What is happening will not help us,” Polo told Free FM.

“Even chance to qualify for the World Cup, it will not help us because this is not the quality.

“To be frank, football goes beyond logic. But you need a coach who can put certain things together so that can able to win them, he can take us to the World Cup.

“But to be frank, the quality of our football today, icanle to go past Nigeria and go to the World Cup, we shall thank God. But the World Cup is also a different thing,” he stated.
