I would not have approved an offer from Bartomeu-Dani Alves

The Brazilian has claimed that he wouldn’t accepted Bartomeu offer to return to Barcelona when the latter was still at the helm.

“I would not have accepted an offer from him,” Alves told Alkass Sports Channels.

“I left when he was president and there was no point in working with him again.”

Alves expresses his preference to play again with Lionel Messi in Barcelona. The Argentine forward departed to Paris Saint-Germain last summer, when his contract with the Blaugrana came to an end.

“Messi’s departure was difficult, the club had problems and it was difficult to keep him,” added Alves.

“I was against his departure because he is a living Barcelona legend. Unfortunately, things did not go the way we wanted, but I hope that he will return one day and we can play together again.”

According to Alves Joan Laporta’s return to Barcelona, the presidency will be effective for the club.

“I had the feeling that I would return to Barcelona, and although a lot of people thought it was weird, I’m back,” noted Alves.

“We have to work to rebuild a great Barcelona, and for this, we need stability and solidarity.

“Laporta will rebuild the club again, and with his return stability will return. We are happy to have him with us.”
