‘I Will Start Cursing Bad Referees’ – Thomas Duah Fumes

Ashgold Headcoach Coach Thomas Duah has expressed disappointment in officiating after his side loss 2-1 to Accra Hearts of Oak.

Afriyie Barnieh broke the deadlock on the 12 minutes through penalty for the home side before Aminu Adams leveled it on 24 minutes.

The second half began with both halves poised to get a winning goal but it was the home side that did the most before the game ended.

Afriyie Barniah again had a brace on the 60th minute to restore the lead for Hearts of Oak.

“You could clearly see that the referee had his own results in his pockets, even though Hearts of Oak played well but the referee was awful.

‘’Very soon we will start bringing our schnapps to the pitch because we will be cursing any bad referees.”

The result means Hearts of Oak are sixth on the table with 32 points and Ashgold are sitting 13th with 25 points.
