“I Was Really Happy For Scoring Against Kotoko”- Emmanuel Clottey

Berekum Chelsea striker Emmanuel Clottey has expressed his excitement for scoring against his former club Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Emmanuel Clottey scored a thunderbolt free-kick just around the Kumasi Asante Kotoko 18 yard box on the 7th minutes of injury time to pick a point for his side Berekum Chelsea at Berekum Golden City Park this afternoon.

Speaking on how he felt after scoring against his former club, Asante Kotoko he said.

“I was really happy for scoring against Kotoko. I was overjoyed and unfortunately i pulled my shirt. I didn’t intend to disrespect Kotoko by throwing my shirt at the Kotoko technical area. I really apologize if Kotoko team and fans are offended. Really sorry” he told ARK 107.1FM this afternoon.

Emmanuel Clottey few years ago, had legal tussle with Asante Kotoko and Tunisian giants Esperance de Tunis when he joined the porcupine warriors from Esperance which generated alot of issues leading to his ban.
