Hearts of Oak Part Ways With Team Manager Ben Adjei- Opare Addo Confirms

The Hearts of Spokesperson has confirmed that the club has part ways with new appointed Team Manager Ben Adjei after less than a month.

However, Opare Addo denied that Adjei’s axing was due to posting a ‘porn’ picture in the clubs WhatsApp group.

It was reported earlier this week that the former player has been sacked for the aforementioned reason.

Adjei was appointed as a stopgap team manager to fill in for Shaban Quaye who is on sick leave.

“Our team manager is sick and medically he was advised to stay away from the team until he is fit. I talk to him every day. Spoke to him today. Very soon he will be okay and the team manager will get back to the team” Opare Addo in an interview with Asempa FM

“Regarding Ben Adjei, whatever that is it that the club is parting ways with him, we will make sure the supporters know about it.”

“Nobody should say he has done this or that. He served Hearts of Oak as a player and has come back to serve Hearts of Oak. But he has other responsibilities to address.”

“The truth is Ben is attending to another assignment or responsibility or another challenge, let me put it that way. So we all came to a logical conclusion and go our separate ways. There is nothing bad about it just that we had to separately go and advance a new course.
