Hearts Of Oak loses at home to Bechem United

Hearts of Oak fails to impress as they were hammered by Bechem based Bechem United in match-day 10 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

Many thought the Phobians will win this match to move up on the table but Bechem United had a different plan.

Hearts of oak struggled because they were not with the talisman Afriyie Barnie as the player has now joined Swiss Club FC Zurich on permanent basis.

In the first 10 minutes of the game, Bechem United opened the scoreline, thanks to a goal from Cephas Kofi Mantey before Hafiz Konkoni added the second goal.

Just before the close of the game, Hearts pulled one goal back but couldn’t get the equalizer.

The match ended in 2-1 in favor of Bechem.

Bechem United now lies on top of Hearts of Oak on the league log despite the two teams having the same points.

A goal difference of +4 against a goal difference of +3 separates the two sides.

Bechem are placed 4th and the Phobians are placed 5th on the league table
