Hearts of Oak: Amanda Clinton set to be named as new CEO – Reports

Ghana Premier League powerhouse, Hearts of Oak have held talks with Amanda Clinton over the vacant Chief Executive Officer [CEO] role.

The Phobian Club have been without a CEO following the sudden resignation of Frederick Moore.

With the new football season set to kick off in less than two months, the club will hope to settle on a new CEO.

3 Music boss, Baba Sadiq Abdulai Abu was linked to the vacant job ahead of the new football season.

However, according to multiple reports in the local media, the leadership of the club have held talks with the renowned lawyer to take up the position, and remains favorite for the job.

Clinton is famously known for contesting the 2019 Ghana Football Association [GFA] presidential race.

However, Hearts of Oak will represent the country in the 2022/23 CAF Confederations Cup having won the FA Cup last season.

The 2020/21 Ghana Premier League champions will play either AS Douanes (Burkina Faso) or ASR Bamako (Mali) in the second preliminary round of the Confederation Cup.

Samuel Boadu and his charges will also begin their 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League campaign with an away game against Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
