Hearts Of Oak Suspends Sponsorship And Partnership Deals Due To COVID 19.

Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak has suspended sponsorship and partnership deals due to COVID 19 thus according to the club’s Managing Director Frederick Moore.

Explaining in a virtual interview to discuss the effects of the Covid-19 on Ghanaian football clubs, Federick disclosed that his outfit has not been exempted from the financial difficulties hitting other clubs as a result of the pandemic.

“In terms of revenue, Hearts of Oka has lost about two-thirds of its revenue or more. We cannot quantify what we have lost during this period of Covid-19″.

“We were supposed to sign partnerships and new sponsorships but they have all been suspended for now. I don’t think there is a club in Ghana that can survive mainly on sponsorship”,

“No football club can survive just with gate proceeds but also need support from government and corporate Ghana”.

The current league season is under suspension due to the pandemic that has his the world with Ghana’s coronavirus positive cases clocking over six thousand.
