Hearts of Oak supporters chief in ecstasy over Sulley Muntari links

Accra Hearts of Oak supporters chief Elvis Hesse has expressed his delight in reaction to speculation linking Sulley Muntari to the capital-based club.

The former AC Milan midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to Accra Hearts of Oak in the last 48hours which has triggered a reaction from the supporters chairman.

Sulley Ali Muntari is currently without a team after ending his contract with Spanish side Albacete.

The experienced midfielder is believed to be a keen admirer of Accra Hearts of Oak.

“I will be very glad to see Sulley Ali Muntari playing Hearts of Oak, if even it’s just for a season. It’s not official though, but I have heard snippets of information to the effect that Sulley relish donning the rainbow colours. Moreover he has special affinity for us” the supporters chief told Fox FM.

Hearts of Oak have vehemently denied rumours suggesting that Muntari has signed a contract with the club via twitter.

“@HeartsOfOakGH wants to notify the general sporting public that we have not signed Ghana International Sulley Muntari as it’s being reported by the media. Sulley is a great player and a friend of the club. We will continue to unveil the players we have signed” the Accra based giants posted.

@HeartsOfOakGH is the Premier club in Ghana and will continue to set the standards, we therefore urge our supporters not to rely on information unless it comes from our official handles.
