Hearts of Oak Midfielder Emmanuel Nettey Set Eyes On Black Stars Call-Up.

Midfielder for Accra Hearts Oak, Emmanuel Nettey remains optimistic of a national team call up following a good run of form in the Hearts Of Oak set up.

Four local-based players got called by CK Akonnor as the team were preparing for Sudan in double header, unfortunately, Nettey  got snubbed, with Richard Attah the only player from Hearts who made the cut.

“It did not affect me in any way because there are so many Ghanaians playing, others are plying their trade outside, they weren’t called so if I am doing my best I think I can get better,” he told Citisports.

“Because he has given first slots to the local players and this one of many matches to come, I just need to set up my game and then make sure in the next call-ups I should do my best and have a call-up.”

All CAF organized competitions are on hold due to the pandemic with no specific return date.
