HEARTS COACH DAVID OCLOO ” We were denied a clear penalty against Bibiani Goldstars”

Interim head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak David Ocloo believe they were denied a clear penalty against Bibiani Goldstars.

Bibiani Goldstars were held to a 1:1 draw at home by Accra Hearts of Oak on match day 21 of the Betpawa premier league. The home side were minutes away from securing their first ever win over Hearts of Oak in the league before Isaac Mensah pounced with a header in the 98th minute.

Bibiani Goldstars took the lead through an audacious cross from former Kotoko left back Evans Owusu.

Hearts appeal for a penalty in the second half was waved by Referee Selorm Yaw Bless. Cameroon striker Albert Dieudonne goal bound effort came off the hands of the one of the defenders of Bibiani Goldstar.

Interim head Coach of Hearts of Oak David Ocloo in his post match interview indicated they were denied a clear penalty.

We had a clear Penalty, I don’t want to talk about that but the referee denied us

Ocloo commended his team for showing resilience. Despite going down in the 4th minute Hearts of Oak rescued a point thanks to a late header from striker Isaac Mensah.
