GWPL: Seven (7) matches without a win, Berry Ladies are back to winning ways

Ghana women’s premier league match week 13 fixture between Berry Ladies and Sea Lions has come to an end with a win for Berry Ladies.

Last season Southern zone runners-up Berry Ladies we’re at home [Medina AstroTurf] against Sea Lions. A game that seems to be very crucial than any other game for the two sides ended in favour of the home team.

Berry Ladies are experiencing a very difficult seam but not at their home grounds. They remain unbeaten at home in the league this season after playing 6 games at home.

The last time Berry Ladies won a league game was on match day 5 when they beat Immigration ladies by 2-1 at home. Their last game before this game was a visit to Dansoman which they lost by 3-1 to their opponents Faith Ladies.

Going into the game, Berry Ladies were seating in the relegation zone with 13 points, 5 points above their opponents Sea Lions also in the relegation zone.

At the end of the 90 minutes of football action on the field, Constance Serwaa’s first half goal was what separate the two teams.

Sea Lions came into the game with a new coach at the touchline but his tactics couldn’t see his team score pass the home team.
