GWPL: Nine games undefeated, Hasaacas Ladies end the first round on a high note

The defending champions of the Ghana women’s premier league Hasaacas Ladies are unbeaten after nine games in the first round and they are the only team in the league that remains unbeaten.

The were unbeaten in the first round of the women’s premier league last season and repeated the same thing this season.

The Dooo Ladies started the season with a 3-0 win over their neighbors Lady Strikers at home, went of to beat Army Ladies by 4-1 away and had a very disappointing 2-2 draw with Police Ladies at home to conclude fixtures in the month of December last year.

In the month of January 2022, they [Hasaacas] played four matches and got eight points out of 12 points.

They won against Faith Ladies by 1-2 away, had a 0-0 draw against Sea Lions, then won against Immigration Ladies by 0-2 away and had another disappointing 2-2 draw at home against Berry Ladies. That was how they close their fixtures on the month of January.

In February 2022, they played two games in February as the first round fixtures come to an end. They recorded a 100% winning record in February as they traveled to Ejumako and won then travel to Accra to win against Thunder Queens.

The defending champions are defending their league title with so much energy as many people believes they can defend the league title.

Hasaacas Ladies are first on the league table in the Southern zone with 21 points, 3 points above the second place team Lady Strikers.
