GWPL: Berry Ladies pick a point away without four (4) of their key players and head coach

The week 14 fixture of the Ghana women’s premier league between Immigration Ladies and Berry Ladies ended in a 1-1 draw at the McDan La Town Park.

The visitors went into this encounter without four (4) of their first team players who are on national duty and their head coach who is also on national duty.

Head coach Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo, Philomena Abakah, Monica Addai and Martha Appiah are all with the senior women’s national team that traveled to Morocco on national assignment.

Constance Serwaa who has been very key in their first eleven also got a called up into the U-17 National women’s team.

With the assistant coach taking over the mandate today, her tactics were able to help the team to get a point away.

Elizebeth Ayebea was given the chance to lead the team upfront as a striker and her linkup play with her teammates was on point.

The home side [Immigration] got the first goal of the game which put Berry behind but all thanks to Felicity Antwi Agyei with a very brilliant goal to level things up before the halftime break.

Felicity Antwi Agyei’s 40th minutes equalizer Was what gave them the point.
