GPL Week 13 – Inter Allies 1-1 Hearts Mohammed Alhassan late strike rescue Hearts of Oak from defeat

Inter Allies shared spoils with Hearts of Oak as they drew 1-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium in the week 13 fixtures of the Ghana Premier league on Sunday.

Inter Allies forward Samuel Armah broke the deadlock in the first half after Victorian Adebayor swam through two Hearts of Oak defenders to set him up.

The first half ened 1-0 in favor of Inter Allies.

Hearts of Oak introduced Michel Sarpong and Daniel Afriyie in the second half for the chase for an equalizer and if possible a win.

Defender Mohammed Alhassan fed on a rebound of left-back Randy Ovuka’s free kick to get an equalizer for Hearts of Oak in the 85th minute.

The regional derby ended 1-1 with Hearts of Oak maintaining the 9th position on the league table with 18 points as Inter Allies also maintain the 11th position with 16 points on the league table after 13 games.
