GPL Preview: Ashgold host struggling Sharks

AshantiGold SC will welcome struggling Elmina Sharks FC to the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi for the Ghana Premier League matchday 13 fixture.

The Miners are winless in their last 6 games across all competitions and will hope to take advantage of Sharks’ poor form and end their winless run.

Elmina Sharks on the other hand will hope to end a poor spell under Coach Mallam Yahaya who’s yet to pick up any points since assuming his role as Head Coach.

Ashgold will be boosted by the return of first-choice goalkeeper Kofi Mensah and defender Samed Ibrahim after both returned from the treatment table

Thomas Duah and his charges are yet to record a single win in 2022 and will hope to get their first win of the calendar year against Sharks on Sunday afternoon.
