GPL Matchday 28: Frank Mbella misses twice from the spot as Aduana holds Kotoko in Kumasi

Kumasi Asante Kotoko failed to win all maximum points at the Baba Yara Sports stadium this afternoon as Aduana Stars held them to a 1:1 draw.

Cameroonian forward Frank Mbella, despite scoring a thunderbolt in the first half, failed to score from the spot on twice occasions for the porcupine warriors.

Mbella, first missed in the 61st minute when he was brought down in the penalty box. His effort to double the lead for the homeside was saved by goalkeeper Joseph Addo.
Etouga was again brought down in the 80th minute with fans hoping he could seal the victory for the porcupine warriors but his effort was again denied by evergreen shot-stopper Joseph Addo.

Aduana Stars top scorer of the season, Bright Adjei pulled parity in the 90th minute to ensure the ogyaa boys gets back to Dormaa with a point.

Asante Kotoko are still on top of the league with 56points in 28 matches whiles Aduana are 6th placed with 42points.
