GPL Matchday 25 Wrap: RTU tame noisy porcupines,Lions deepens King Faisal woes, Sharks draws Hearts in Accra as Wonders shocks Bechem United in Techiman

The Ghana Premier League Matchday 25 has ended across all league centres with a lot od shocking results.

The race for the title gets hotter as favourites, Asante Kotoko lost by 2:1 to Real Tamale United and second placed Bechem United shockingly losing to Eleven Wonders in Techiman.


Eleven Wonders came from a two goals down to complete a 3:2 come back over the Hunters at the Nana Ameyaw park.

Defending champions Accra Hearts of Oak yet again failed to win at home as Michael Asamoah’s goal ensured that relegation bound, Elmina Sharks leave the Accra sports stadium with a point.


Samuel Inkoom shot the Phobians ahead from a set piece in the 2nd minute of the game.

Another interesting result was seen in Kumasi as Kumasi King Faisal lost narrowly to Accra Lions at home.
Alhaji Grunsah’s side has failed to win a game in their last seven (7) league appearances.

Bibiani Goldstars came down from a goal to defeat Accra Great Olympics by 2:1 at the Dunns park on Sunday.
