GOVERNMENT PLAN TO BUILD A STADIUM IN HONOUR OF THE EIGHT JUVENILE PLAYERS WHO LOST THEIR LIFE LAST YEAR- PETER TWUMASI

The Director General of the national sports Authority has disclosed that, Government plan to build a stadium in honour of the eight juvenile players who died in agony accident last year

The eight juvenile players aged between 12 to 15 years meet their untimely death after undergone their District colts football registration exercise at afrancho when they got into a car accident

According to the general director of the national sports Authority, government took care of the expenses of the injured and the bereaved families since the accident and also paid Ghc 100,00 to cover burial expenses.

He further indicated that, the state also captivated all hospital bills and facilitated cost amount of Ghc 20,000.00 to the families

He stressed out that government give the children insurance cover from Glico insurance company.
