Government donate fifty thousand Ghana cedis to Sellas Tetteh

The deputy minister of youth and sports Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie paid a visit to Coach Sellas Tetteh on 20th February 2023. On behalf of His Excellency  Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo the president of the Republic of Ghana the minister presented fifty thousand Ghana cedis to him.

Sellas Tetteh has been unwell for sometime now. Three months ago he complained about money owed him by the Ghana Football Association for winning the 2009 under-20 FIFA World Cup.

Touched by his story Alpha Lotto and captain of the Black Stars Andre Ayew donated cash to the veteran Coach. Government joins the list of benevolent donors who have so far come to this aid.

Sellas Tetteh formerly coached Liberty Professionals, Black Satellites and was the assistant coach for the Black Stars during the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
