Ghanaian forward Zubairu Ibrahim has expressed his immense joy after completing his move to Serbian powerhouse FK Partizan.

The 20-year-old penned a four-year contract, solidifying a dream come true.

“It is really a dream come true for me,” Ibrahim said, brimming with excitement. “I don’t have enough words to describe it. Partizan is the best club in the country, and I am more than delighted to wear the Black and White jersey and play in front of this amazing fans.”

Ibrahim’s excitement is well-deserved. Since arriving at FK Jedinstvo Ub in 2022, he has been a force to be reckoned with. He amassed an impressive 20 goals and 10 assists in just 60 appearances across all competitions. His contributions were particularly significant in the 2023/24 season, where his 13 goals and 7 assists were instrumental in propelling Jedinstvo to promotion to the Serbian top flight.

Prior to his time in Serbia, Ibrahim played for Ghanaian lower tier side King Faisal. He has also represented Ghana at the U-20 and U-23 levels. Now, he sets his sights on impressing for Partizan and potentially earning a call-up to the senior national team.

Zubairu Ibrahim is eager to contribute to Partizan’s success. The club will kick off the 2024/25 season with an opening league fixture against Napredak on July 20.
