Ghana’s Antoine Semenyo Nominated for EPL Player of the Month Award After Stellar March

Antoine Semenyo

Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo has earned a nomination for the English Premier League Player of the Month award for March.

His impressive performances for AFC Bournemouth were a key factor in their undefeated month.

Semenyo found the net three times in just four matches for the Cherries in March. This scoring prowess, coupled with his overall contribution, helped propel Bournemouth to three wins and a draw. These results lifted them to 11th place in the league table with a total of 40 points after 30 matches.

While Semenyo’s contributions were undeniable, he faces stiff competition from other nominees. Alexander Isak (Newcastle), Alexis Mac Allister (Liverpool), Rodrigo Muniz (Fulham), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Son Heung-min (Spurs), and Ben White (Arsenal) are all vying for the prestigious award.

The public has the chance to influence the outcome, as their votes will be combined with those of a panel of football experts. Voting closes on April 8 before 12:00 BST. The winner will be announced next week.
