Ghanaian forward Abdul Aziz Yakubu found the net for Rio Ave, but it wasn’t enough to secure victory as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Vizela in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.

The 26-year-old opened the scoring for Rio Ave in just the 4th minute, giving them an early lead. However, Samuel Essende equalized for Vizela in the 37th minute, ensuring a share of the spoils.
