Ghanaian youngster Samuel Ofori habours dreams of playing for Ghana

Ghanaian youngster Samuel Ofori has revealed his dreams of playing for the senior national team, the Black Stars of Ghana.

The 23year old is having a breakthrough season for Ravshan Kulob in the Tajikistan top flight league, where he has made several appearances with a man of the match award this season.

Samuel in an interview with Soccanews.com revealed that he would jump on any opportunity to represent his nation should any pop up in the coming years.

” I grew up watching them on TV and my goal is to wear the jersey and to represent them in the future.
Looking at the crop of players in the national team, i can say I see myself playing soon.It could be a year or 2 because I have set a target for myself to achieve some dream within that period”.

“I am a hard working player and I know what I can do as a defender.I see myself playing for any of the national team(Black Meteors or Black Stars) soon”, he told Soccanews.com.

Samuel further revealed that he would love to have a taste of European football soon and he is working towards that.

“Yes I have a dream of playing in Europe soon. I am working very hard here to attract offers by the end of the season from European clubs”
“I admire Barcelona FC a lot and it will be a dream come true if i get the opportunity to play for them”

The talented defender last played for Dolphins FC in the ABC Motsepe league in South Africa before making his move to Tajikistan.
