Ghanaian midfielder talks about training under lockdown

Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan has opened up about how different training under lockdown feels like.

Duncan who plies his trade in Italy for Fiorentina played only three matches for the club before the league was suspended after joining La Viola in the January transfrer window.

With the return of the league engulfed in uncertainty,the midfielder revealed how hard he’s working to gain match fitness should the league resume anytime soon.

“We are all doing our best. I try to train as much as possible at home, even if it is not the same thing,” he told Calciomercato.

“As Iachini said, it will take about 3 to 4 weeks to get back into a condition that will play a game. And we will have to be very careful about injuries,” he added.

Duncan joined Fiorentina on 31 January 2020 with an option to buy.
