Ghanaian footballer wins best player award

19 year old Ghanaian midfielder Edmund Addo who plays for FK Senica in Slovakia has been nominated as the best player of the first round of the league matches by the country’s leading sports newspaper, Daily Sports.

Journalist Martin Killian confirmed in an interview with Daily Sports that the youngster has been acknowledged as the best player in the league.

Edmund was nominated just recently as the man of the match following his outstanding display against Pohronie.

Question: After game in Pohronie you were honored as the best player of the league round. What does it mean to you?
Ans: Off course am happy ! Because that’s always my desire to be the best always. I believe my colleagues contributed much to that because of their support and teamwork on the field of play and off pitch .
You are the best league´s player in year 2020 by Daily Sport rating. What can you say about it?
Ans: My first thanks goes to God ! My coaches, teammates, our supporters and my fans who keeps motivating me daily .

Question : Where do you think is Senica´s limit? Can you compare with the best teams?
Ans: I believe for now we’re targeting the 5th position and possibly higher than that. We’re trying and will do our best to get there.
