Ghana women’s FA cup: Back to back FA cup final for Ampem Darkoa Ladies after beating Army Ladies

Last season women’s FA cup finalist Ampem Darkoa Ladies have qualify to gnus seasons FA cup final making it two consecutive finals for them.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies play as host to Army Ladies at the Bantama AstroTurf in the first semifinals of the Women’s FA cup. A game that went down to the 90th minutes to decide the winner.

Coach Norbert’s side Army Ladies took the lead in early minutes after a goal keeping mistake from the Ampem Darkoa Ladies keeper Safiatu Salifu.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies trail from that early stage of the game till the 56th minutes before Mary Amponsah got the equaliser.

That Mary Amponsah draw them on level till the 90 minutes of playing time was over and the officials added 4 minutes of additional time.

Mary Amponsah again manage to get into opponents penalty yard to meet a long ball that was played into the box and she smartly put it at the back of the net.

Mary Amponsah’s two goals were able to send her side to the finals of the FA cup.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies are also eyeing the league title in the Northern zone as they are currently on top of the league table with just a point above the second place team Pearl Pia Ladies.
