Ghana women’s FA cup: Ampem Darkoa Ladies show supremacy over Police Ladies to reach semifinal

Last season finalists of the women’s FA cup Ampem Darkoa Ladies have shown multiple reasons they must progress to the semifinals stage of this year’s competition.

2016 winners of the FA cup Police Ladies were paired with last season finalist Ampem Darkoa Ladies.

Ampem Darkoa coming into the game have picked up only one point out of possible six in their previous two league matches. Police on the other hand picked up 4 points out of possible six in their last two league matches.

The first half of the game ended in a goalless draw with the two teams creating some goals scoring chances but couldn’t put the ball at the back of the net.

In the second department of the game, the technical team of Ampem Darkoa Ladies did some tactical substitution which change the face of the game for them.

Elizabeth Owusu came on to substitute Jennifer Owusuaa. This change the game in favour of Ampem Darkoa Ladies. Their first goal came through the substitute Owusu Elizabeth.

Police Ladies created some decent chances in the second half too but couldn’t make the chances count.
