Ghana High Commission In South Africa Break Silence on Alleged Murder

The High Commission of Ghana in South Africa has declared a report that a Ghanaian citizen had been killed in South Africa over an argument around the Bafana Bafana vs Ghana game as fake news.

The Ghana HC investigated the matter after several Ghanaian journalists had spread unconfirmed rumours about the alleged death of a Mr. Yaw Owusu following a disagreement with an unnamed South African on social media.

However, the Ghana HC confirmed that after “extensive investigation” the information has been found “fake and without merit”.
