GFA sets new date for Congress

The Ghana Football Association Executive Council has set a new date for congress after members of the FA petitioned against the virtual congress.

Following it’s meeting on Monday, August 17, 2020 the GFA has postponed the meeting from August 26,2020 ordinary congress to September 1, 2020.

The change in date was due to members petition which was signed over 62 clubs talking about the challenges of a virtual congress meeting.

Among the challenges listed were network challenges, technical challenges and other factors which includes counting of votes.

The new congress would be held at Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence on September 1, 2020 at 9:00am
