GFA names referees for the 2023–24 Premier League season, and selected referees are scheduled for a three-day training session.

Prior to the upcoming season, Premier League referees and assistant referees will participate in a three-day training programme at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence.

The training, which is scheduled to take place from September 10 to 13, is a component of both the recently adopted Technical tests and Disciplinary inspections as well as the current Fitness test.

The Assessment and Classification group chose the referees with assistance from the Ghana Football Association’s Referees association.

The Committee reduced the number of officials to 30 centre officials and 30 assistant officials. Included are all of the GFA- and FIFA-approved female referees and assistant referees.
