Vincent Atinga of Medeama SC has been awarded the prestigious 2022–23 Ghana Premier League Player of the Season honour for his outstanding contributions.
Atinga won Man of the Match awards in the Ghana Premier League on a frequent basis throughout the 2022–23 campaign, contributing significantly to Medeama’s first-ever title victory.
Along with his Jonathan Sowah, Abednego Tetteh from Bibiani Gold Stars, Hafiz Konkoni , Sampson Eduku, and Michel Otou among the nominees, Atinga, formerly of Hearts of Oak, stood out.
The season saw Atinga score an impressive total of 11 goals, 9 of which were from penalty kicks, demonstrating his exceptional scoring prowess.
