George Afriyie: “ I will not take GFA to CAS”

George Afriyie claims that he will fight his fights through the structures in Ghanaian football.

In response to Graphic Sports’ disclosure that he will be bringing the case before the Court of Arbitration for Sports, George Afriyie released the following statement.

“No I don’t know where Graphic is coming from maybe they have seen something that I haven’t seen. But as far as ai am concerned I will go through the process I am a student of the game I understand our statute and the regulations.”

“I have gone through elections this is my fifth time in 2005 I contested for executive position, in 2011 I contested, in 2015 I contested, in 2019 I contested for the position of President so I have gone through elections so I am very much abreast with statutes and our regulations. And I will use the proper channels to seek redress,” he told Peace FM in an interview.

Meanwhile George Afriyie is currently contesting the decision of the GFA Vetting Committee in his disqualification from the presidential elections.
