Frank Lampard sacked by Everton

Premier League legend Frank Lampard has been fired from his position as manager of Everton football club following a disappointing run of games with the Merseyside club.

Lampard managed just 35 victories in 38 games in the Premier League, recording less victories than games managed for the club.

The decision was taken following Everton’s defeat against Westham last weekend with 19th place being their position on the Premier League table.

The Premier League legend was fired following his eighth loss in nine games.

Lampard was hired in January 2022 to replace Rafael Benitez yet did not live up to expectation.

Sean Dyche remains a top option to replace the former Chelsea manager with Wayne Rooney and David Moyes also shortlisted as potential candidates for the job.
