Former Kaizer Chiefs coach jets off to Manchester City

Former Kaizer Chiefs head coach Gavin Hunt has jetted off to Manchester City to link up with Pep Guardiola and his technical team.

The four-time PSL winning coach parted ways with Chippa United in December 2021 after steering the club to a single win from the 10 league games he coached.

In his own words, Hunt said he was invited by a friend who works for Man City to check out the environment and explore new opportunities in the United Kingdom.

“I will check out the environment and see if there are opportunities. I got an invitation from a friend, who works at the club,” Hunt to Daily Sun in January.

“For now, I am enjoying my role as an analyst at SuperSport, but I am available to take on new job offers.”

Hunt’s daughter Kaitlin shared a picture of his father with his luggage packed as the former Amakhosi mentor appeared ready to fly to Manchester.
