Former AFCON Best player hailed  Senegal for winning their first Afcon trophy

The  Africa Cup of Nations best player in 2015, Christian Atsu, has took on social media to praise  the Senegalese team after winning their first Afcon trophy in Cameroon.

The Teranga Lions defeated Egypt on penalties to win the competition for the first time in the West African country’s history. Atsu, who came close to lifting the title in 2015 with Ghana, took to social media to congratulate Senegal for their triumph.

The 29 year old took on Twitter to hailed the Teranga Lions for winning their first trophy.

Christian Atsu was the star man, who lead the Black Stars to the 2015 African cup of nations final but lost to the Ivory Coast.
