Getafe however, came back to take the game to Barca in the second half yet heroics from the in-form Marc Andre Ter Stegen denied them a chance to restore parity.
Barcelona also created chances in the second half but couldn’t extend their lead with Ansu Fati, Frank Kessie and Ousmane Dembele all coming close to doubling the Catalans’ lead.
The wins puts Barcelona 3 points clear of Real Madrid in the League standings.
