Ex-Kotoko defender declares club as Ghana Premier League winners.

Former Asante Kotoko defender Eric Donkor has declared Asante kotoko as the champions of the Ghana premier league with 10 more games to end the season.

The two-time African Champions has been impressive this season and are currently on the summit of the domestic top-flight table, accumulating 52 points after 24 matches.

In an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, the mother station of Joydadi multimedia, former Ashantigold left-back indicated his former employers are already champions considering the fact that kotoko is leading the table with 8 points gap.

“Kotoko won the league in the first round. When you look at the points build up from the first round you would realize Kotoko was going to win the title”

Kotoko at the moment, leads the table with 52 points, 8 points above second placed Bechem United.
