Every club is ready to play if football resumes -Takyi Arhin

Renowned Ghanaian football administrator, Takyi Arhin has said that every club is ready to play football should government ease restrictions on contact sports.

Speaking on air, the vociferous football administrator revealed that they(football fraternity) are ready to observe all laid protocols just is being done at other sectors.

“Every club is ready to play football again. Covid-19 has come to stay with us as said by the president and we just need to observe the laid protocols”
The Ghana Cocoa board and ministry of finance who were closed because of Covid-19 has resumed and observing health protocols so why not football”, he quizzed.

“Proposals has been sent to the government at the health ministry as to how we can follow the protocols because if the president doesn’t give the green light, who are you to resume football”, he added.

The former Eleven Wonders boss further said that the current government doesn’t have football at heart looking at how they have handled the football family after the Anas expose.

“I don’t think this current government has football at heart. Looking at how football was handled after the Anas expose, you will get to know this government doesn’t have interest in football”, he added.
