Ernest Nuamah Secures Long-Term Deal With Olympique Lyon

Ernest Nuamah

Ghanaian forward Ernest Nuamah has completed a permanent transfer to French giants Olympique Lyonnais after a successful loan spell last season.

The 21-year-old winger has signed a deal that keeps him at the club until 2028.

Ernest Nuamah impressed during his loan stint at Lyon in the 2023/24 season, contributing directly to five goals (3 goals, 2 assists) in 33 appearances across all competitions. He initially joined Belgian side RWD Molenbeek from FC Nordsjaelland in the summer of 2023 before being loaned out to Lyon.

Nuamah’s performances convinced Lyon to secure his services permanently, solidifying their attacking options for the upcoming season.

This move marks a significant step forward in Nuamah’s young career. Playing for a top club like Lyon will provide him with valuable experience and opportunities to develop his skills further.
