Enos Adepah opens up on his Karela sacking

Enos Adepah has lifted the lid on his sacking by his former employers Karela United.

Former Premier League winner Enos Adepah was axed by Karela United after a rather disappointing start to the season. The coach was sacked after picking up just eleven points from fifteen matches.

Coach Enos Adepah was recruited by Karela at the start of the season following the departure of Johnson Smith to Asante Kotoko.

In an interview with Sekondi/Takoradi based radio station West Gold radio, Coach Enos Adepah revealed that Karela’s decision to part ways with him was something he expected and wasn’t so worried about the decision.

The former Karela boss made a statement which also suggests that the supporters of the club were a contributing factor to his dismissal stating that the club’s followers were more concerned about the short term performance of the team rather than the long term benefits the team could have derived from his guidance.

He added that the current financial state of the team affected the overall performance of his players and also prevented the team from reaching its full potential.

“I don’t think I was affected by the decision, everybody knows how the job is, sometimes it happens when you are expecting it other times it just take you by surprise but when you really understand the nature of your job you accept the consequences with open arms”. He revealed

Enos Adepah won the Ghana Premier League trophy with Wa All Stars in 2016.
