Emmanuel Lomotey on target for Ethnikos Achnas in Cyprus

In the second game of the season, the 25-year-old scored the equalising goal for his team as they rallied from a deficit to draw 5-5 with AEK Larnaca.

Four of the five goals for AEK were scored by Spanish forward Fran Sol, including a penalty, and the fifth goal was scored by North Macedonian forward Trichovski Ivan.

Marios Ilia, a former Cypriot international, scored a hat trick for Ethnikos as well, with Patryk Lipski scoring the other goal.

At the AEK Arena, the final score was a 5-5 tie when Lomotey’s equalising goal with four seconds left in the game gave Ethnikos a point.

It’s been long coming for Lomotey as he faced major criticism in his last call up for the senior National team.

A performance like this would do more good to him as it will boost his confidence to take inspiration from it to provide good performances like this
