Elmina Sharks records 7 undefeated games after win against Dreams

Elmina Sharks recorded their 7th undefeated game after their match day 15 2-1 win over Dreams FC.

Elmina Sharks who played as hosts to Dreams FC at the Ndoum Sports Stadium in their match day 15 of the 2019/2020 Ghana premier League were able to maintain their unbeaten run kind courtesy Augustine Owusu.

Augustine Owusu who received the first yellow card of the game, also registered the first goal of the game in the 21st minute to put his team in the lead.

The lead didn’t last after Suleman Mohammed equalized for Dreams FC in the 30th minute ending the first half by 1-1.

Elmina Sharks returned in the first half to restore their lead in the 54th minute through Augustine Owusu.

Dreams FC who were the best team on the day couldn’t share points with Elmina Sharks thanks to their goalkeeper Lord Bawa who was a standing block between them and the goals till the final whistle.

Elmina Sharks are now in the 5th position with 25 points on the league table after 15 games.
