Earth Angels FC Grabs First Win as the Liberia Football Association kickoff the second phase of the Orange Women’s Division League

Earth Angels FC defeated Shaitta Angels FC 3-0 to begin the second phase of the league as Princess Nyanka one goal and Rebbeca Tarr brace were enough to give the Angles all three points at the George Weah Technical Center on today.

The 2018/2019 Liberia Football Association Women’s Champions are struggling greatly this season after playing 10 League games, lost six , draw three and win one.

The Angels currently sit second to bottom of the nine teams log with 6 points.

At Tusa Field, Soccer Ambassador FC beat Blanco FC 5-0 to maintained 5th place with 13 points.

A brace from Lewis Brown and each from Wonder Jure, Zinebu Sawarey and Marsue Forkaphand were enough to secure the win.

Also at Tusa Field in Gardnersville, City Football Academy defeated Hippo FC 1-0 with Amanda Fahn lone goal to take the City Girls third place on the table with 19 points.

Defending Champions Determine Girls FC maintained the top of the table Paulino Abotsu and Bountou Sylla scored four each, and two goals each from Ruth Wesseh, Sylvia Pyne, Marthaline Moore, while Jennie Tisdell and Josephine Palipue scored one each.

Determined Girls FC have played 9 games without a defeat since the start of this season.

Determined Girls have collected 27 points from 9 games with a game in hand with Shaitta Angels FC.

And to climaxed the day at the Nancy B Doe Stadium, Amb FC whipped World Girls FC 3-0 to remain second place in the LFA/Orange National women’s league table with 27 points from 10 league games.
