Due to a knee injury, Harry Maguire’s season could be over

Manchester United’s interim Manager Ralf Rangnick, has stated that Maguire will miss Thursday’s game against Chelsea at home after suffering knew injury. .

‘Harry Maguire is not available tomorrow, he has some issues with his knee,’ said Rangnick. Not a big thing, a niggle with his knee. He didn’t train yesterday nor today.’

The Manchester United captain has not been himself through after he received an email threatening to blow up his family’s home if he did not quit the club within 72.

Police sniffer dogs were used to search the expensive home in Cheshire, and security was increased while Maguire’s fiancée Fern and two young girls slept at a safe house.

Rangnick decided to play Victor Lindelof with Raphael Varane in central defense, therefore Maguire was moved to the bench for Saturday’s loss against Arsenal.

His future at Old Trafford will be called into question this summer, just three years after joining from Leicester for £80 million, with new manager Erik ten Hag looking for a new center-back.
