Former Asante Kotoko striker, Eric Bekoe has refused the blame club chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei following crises that have hit the club currently.
Dr. Kyei has come under several criticisms within his three-year stay at the club with many citing his poor leadership which has led the club huge amounts of monies in recent months.
In an exclusive interview with Light FM Bekoe believes Kwame Kyei can’t be blamed on the recent woes and the supporter have failed to play their roles.
“I will never agree with anyone saying Dr. Kwame Kyei is Kotoko’s problem, I haven’t chopped his money before but let’s call a spade a spade.”
“The circles should unite themselves for their qualities to be felt.”
Life patron of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II recently set up a committee to investigate the administration of Kwame Kyei with several key members of the supporter group calling for his head.
